Andrea Yarur Ready holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has a background closely connected to the arts. She brings to New Beginning Films a sensitive, intuitive and deeply human perspective. Her academic training and artistic experience have shaped her ability to identify projects with strong artistic, narrative and social potential.

As an Executive Producer and partner at the company, she is actively involved in the development and production of film and audiovisual projects, accompanying creative processes with a structured, ethical approach aligned with a contemporary vision of independent cinema.

Her first project within the company is the documentary Tierra Palestina, Global Shift (2025), a work that reflects her commitment to purpose-driven storytelling, designed to create impact, amplify voices and connect audiences with diverse realities through the audiovisual language.

Claudia Pérez Pastene

With over 17 years of professional experience and a strong international background, Claudia Pérez Pastene has built a career that has taken her from Chile to the Middle East and Europe, establishing herself through her commitment to art, memory and social causes.

As Executive Producer and partner at New Beginning Films, she leads the development and production of film, television and documentary projects, championing works with a strong identity and international trajectory. Her filmography includes titles such as Better Off Alone (2013), Valparaízoo (2014), Artax: A New Beginning (2017), The Children’s Round (2019), Tierra Palestina (2019), and the documentary Tierra Palestina, Global Shift (2025), all of which have received recognition both within and beyond Latin America.

Her career, shaped by entrepreneurship and intercultural collaboration — including her work with the Palestinian Ministry of Education on the creation of an ongoing children’s program — reflects a vision of audiovisual production as a tool for dialogue, critical reflection and shared memory.

Jessica Atal

Communication and press

Jessica Atal born in Santiago, Chile, is a writer, poet, editor, essayist, and literary critic with an extensive career in literature and cultural media. She studied Literature at the University of Chile and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from University of Utah (Salt Lake City, USA).

For 27 years, she worked at the newspaper El Mercurio (1988–2015), publishing numerous articles on literature, art, culture, current affairs, and politics, and serving as editor-in-chief of the El Mercurio‑Aguilar publishing imprint from 2000 to 2009.
Atal has published poetry, fiction, and essays, including Variaciones en azul profundo (1991), Pérdida (2010), Arquetipos (2013), Cortina de elefantes (2014), Carne Blanca (2016), WhatsApp, Amor (2016), and Ella también se va (2018). Her work has been translated into multiple languages and featured in anthologies, newspapers, and magazines internationally. In 2004, she received the Edward Said Awardfrom the Fundación Palestina Belén 2000,
recognizing her cultural and intellectual contribution.

Currently, Jessica Atal collaborates with New Beginning Films, directing the company’s communication and press department and managing media strategy and project dissemination. She also continues her work as an independent editor and contributor to the cultural magazine La Panera.

Sara Salgado

Producción España

Sara Salgado is a Spanish actress born in Seville and based in Madrid, whose career is defined by a strong connection between performance, thought, and artistic creation. Her academic background in Psychology, later expanded through studies in Neuroscience in Rome, has had a decisive influence on her approach to acting, providing her with an analytical and emotional perspective that is reflected in the construction of her characters, always grounded in observation, attentive listening, and the pursuit of inner truth.

On television, she has appeared in series such as Valeria and Mía es la venganza, strengthening her experience in serialized fiction and in characters embedded within contemporary narratives. In cinema, she has participated in the short film Sono io, a project closely linked to her personal and artistic relationship with Italy, as well as in the short film Aquí nos conocemos todos, which has received recognition at various festivals. She has also taken part in the feature film Gummy, directed by Javi Prada, further expanding her experience in film.

Jessica Villegas

Chile Production

Jessica Villegas , born in Santiago, Chile, is a Mathematics professor at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with a distinguished career in education. She holds a Bachelor’s in Education, a Master’s in Psychopedagogy and specializations in educational technology (TIC) and assessment for learning, which have enabled her to develop strong work across educational levels and in corporate contexts, including content creation and educational consultancy for children and youth projects.

Jessica Villegas currently collaborates with New Beginning Films on the educational animation project Los Héroes del Barrio, contributing her pedagogical expertise and strategic vision to the creation of content that integrates learning, creativity, and values.

Throughout her career, she has worked in schools and universities, with a strong commitment to students’ holistic development. Her work focuses on creating meaningful learning spaces, fostering respect, collaboration, and valuing diverse contexts as essential components of education.

Marlen Al Bandak

Palestinian Production

Marlen Al Bandak, from Bethlehem, Palestine, is an architect specialized in the rehabilitation and preservation of cultural heritage, with a deep commitment to the memory and identity of her territory. She lives in Cisjordania, where she has developed a notable career restoring historic spaces, combining technical expertise, sensitivity, and a profound understanding of the local context.

In addition to her architectural training, Marlen has experience in public relations and audiovisual production assistance, having contributed to projects such as the documentary Tierra Palestina, educational initiatives, and trilingual translation (Arabic, Spanish, English), serving as a key human and professional bridge between cultures.

She currently collaborates with New Beginning Films as the company’s liaison in Cisjordania, supporting the coordination of projects developed in the region and facilitating their integration with the producer’s international vision. Her work reflects a perspective that unites knowledge, territory, and purpose, with the conviction that culture is also a form of resistance.

Mohammed El Atrash

Animation direction

Mohammad El Atrash, from Al-Nuseirat, Gaza, Palestine, is a sound and audiovisual media specialistwith over 20 years of experience in sound engineering and audio editing. He has worked in radio stations, television channels, and educational centers across the Gaza Strip, establishing himself as one of the region’s most prominent technical voices.

He has contributed to the development of local media projects, the installation of radio studios, and the training of new sound professionals, bringing expertise in both technical and pedagogical areas. His accolades include “Gaza and Jerusalem: A Shared Pain” (Best Radio Film, Islamic Union of Radio and Television Festival, Iran) and “Bil’in” (Best Radio Film, Best Palestinian Journalistic Works Award, Gaza, 2008).

Mohammad has also explored the integration of artificial intelligence in music and sound creation, combining technology with artistic sensitivity. He currently collaborates with New Beginning Films, leading the company’s animation projects and applying AI tools to enhance their creative and technical development.

Tomás Manfredi

Legal advice

Tomás is a lawyer with over 14 years of professional experience, specializing in Administrative Law and the public sector. He began his career at Clifford Chance LLP and joined Rivero Gustafson Abogados in 2012as part of the litigation department. Throughout his career, he has provided legal defense and advisory services in significant cases, representing both national and international companies as well as public entities. In 2021, he was tasked with creating and leading the Administrative and Public Sector Law department at Rivero & Gustafson Abogados, managing high-profile cases of considerable legal complexity and visibility. Since 2024, he has practiced independently while maintaining collaborations as of counsel with various law firms.

Academically, Tomás holds a Law degree from Universidad Europea de Madrid (2010) and a Master in Business Entrepreneurship (MBE) from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2018), completing in 2024 the Executive Development Program (PDD) at IESE Business School. He was a finalist for the “Forty under 40” award by Iberian Lawyer in 2022 and has contributed to recognized legal publications, highlighting his commitment to excellence and professional integrity.

Tomás currently collaborates with New Beginning Films , providing legal advice for all the company’s projects, offering strategic support and legal security in contract management, rights and licensing, and in the planning of national and international productions.

Manuel Carabias

Diseño e Ilustración

Manuel Carabias is an illustrator and graphic designer born in Cádiz, with a versatile career that bridges communication and visual culture. He holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Seville, a background that has strongly influenced his approach to image-making as a narrative and expressive tool.
 
Throughout his career, he has explored a wide range of materials and techniques, developing work across different fields, from comic illustration for media outlets such as Diario ABC to ceramic painting applied to heritage projects, including the restoration of Seville's Plaza de España. This diversity has enabled him to develop a distinctive visual language, attentive to detail and sensitive to the specific context of each project.
 
He collaborates with New Beginning Films as a designer and illustrator, contributing to a range of audiovisual projects and participating in the development of visual identities and graphic materials that strengthen and expand the production company's narrative universe.
 
Alongside his work with New Beginning Films, Manuel designs film posters and channels his passion for cinema through the only illustrated magazine dedicated to Spanish cinema, a free digital publication featuring interviews with industry professionals such as Michelle Jenner and Santiago Segura, reinforcing his commitment to film culture and creative dissemination.
