Jessica Atal<\/b> born in Santiago, Chile, is a writer, poet, editor, essayist, and literary critic with an extensive career in literature and cultural media. She studied Literature at the University of Chile and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the Bachelor of Arts in Spanish<\/i> from University of Utah<\/b> (Salt Lake City, USA).<\/p>\n

For 27 years, she worked at the newspaper El Mercurio<\/i><\/b> (1988\u20132015), publishing numerous articles on literature, art, culture, current affairs, and politics, and serving as editor-in-chief of the El Mercurio\u2011Aguilar publishing imprint<\/b> from 2000 to 2009.
\nAtal has published poetry, fiction, and essays, including Variaciones en azul profundo (1991), P\u00e9rdida (2010), Arquetipos (2013), Cortina de elefantes (2014), Carne Blanca (2016), WhatsApp, Amor (2016), and Ella tambi\u00e9n se va (2018). Her work has been translated into multiple languages and featured in anthologies, newspapers, and magazines internationally. In 2004, she received the Edward Said Award<\/b>from the Fundaci\u00f3n Palestina Bel\u00e9n 2000,
\nrecognizing her cultural and intellectual contribution.<\/p>\n

Mohammad El Atrash<\/b>, from Al-Nuseirat, Gaza, Palestine, is a sound and audiovisual media specialist<\/b>with over 20 years of experience in sound engineering and audio editing. He has worked in radio stations, television channels, and educational centers across the Gaza Strip, establishing himself as one of the region\u2019s most prominent technical voices.<\/p>\n

He has contributed to the development of local media projects, the installation of radio studios, and the training of new sound professionals, bringing expertise in both technical and pedagogical areas. His accolades include \u201cGaza and Jerusalem: A Shared Pain\u201d<\/i> (Best Radio Film, Islamic Union of Radio and Television Festival, Iran) and \u201cBil\u2019in\u201d<\/i> (Best Radio Film, Best Palestinian Journalistic Works Award, Gaza, 2008).<\/p>\n

Throughout his career, he has provided legal defense and advisory services in significant cases, representing both national and international companies as well as public entities. In 2021, he was tasked with creating and leading the Administrative and Public Sector Law department at Rivero & Gustafson Abogados, managing high-profile cases of considerable legal complexity and visibility. Since 2024, he has practiced independently while maintaining collaborations as of counsel<\/i> with various law firms.<\/p>\n
